Gianna V. has over eight years of professional experience, primarily with the City of Cranston, RI, where roles have included Purchasing Clerk, Claims Clerk, Confidential Assistant to the Finance Director, and Community Grant Coordinator since September 2015. Prior to this, Gianna served as an intern at the U.S. Department of Education, contributing to education initiatives and document preparation in September 2013, and as an intern in the Office of the Historian for the U.S. House of Representatives, performing historical research from September to December 2012. Earlier experience includes working as a tutor at CentroNía, where support was provided to elementary school students in reading and writing in late 2011. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in History from American University, completed in 2015, and a high school diploma from Cranston High School East, earned in 2011.
