Chris Marcarello has a diverse background in city management and public works, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Covina since June 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Glendale, Deputy City Manager/Director of Public Works for the City of San Fernando, and Director of Public Works for the City of Rosemead. Key responsibilities encompass overseeing city operations, engineering functions, emergency response, and various public works programs for municipalities ranging in population from 35,000 to 85,000. Chris Marcarello holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Additional qualifications include a Leadership Certificate from the Kravis Leadership Institute at Claremont McKenna College.
