Jose Guzman is an experienced recreation professional currently serving as a Recreation Coordinator for the City of Costa Mesa since August 2022. With a strong background in aquatic management and community services, Jose has previously held positions such as Community Service Leader IV and Aquatic Specialist III at the City of Lakewood, where responsibilities included program development, supervision, and safety compliance. Additional roles across various municipalities have involved managing large teams, implementing safety standards, and enhancing community recreational programs. Jose holds a Master's degree in Recreation Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Recreation and Management from California State University, Long Beach, complemented by an Associate of Arts degree from Long Beach City College.
