Marlon King is an experienced Emergency Services Manager for the City of Chula Vista, a role held since January 2016, focusing on enhancing resident preparedness and implementing response and recovery plans, while also serving as the Emergency Operations Center Director. Prior to this, Marlon King served as Emergency Services Coordinator at the County of San Diego Office of Emergency Services and worked as an Emergency Management Consultant at SAIC. Marlon King's background in coaching includes roles as Men's Basketball Coach at Eastlake High School and Head Coach of the JV team. Marlon King began a career in emergency management as an Administrative Trainee at the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services. Marlon King holds a B.S. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from Biola University.
