Esmeralda Williams has extensive experience in administrative support and public service, currently serving as a Fire Permit Technician for the City of Chico since March 2019, and previously holding the positions of Sheriff's Clerk and Correctional Technician at the Butte County Sheriff's Office from August 2002 to February 2017. In these roles, Esmeralda prepared and maintained reports, conducted inmate bookings, and managed administrative tasks while fostering positive interactions with law enforcement, court representatives, and the public. Esmeralda holds multiple certificates and associate degrees from Butte College, including achievements in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, and Liberal Arts and Sciences, as well as Social and Behavioral Science and Language Arts.
