Sheliza Mitha has extensive experience in communications and project management, currently serving in Administration & Project Communications for the City of Burnaby since September 2016. Responsibilities include aligning communications with the City’s values, preparing memos and reports for management and City officials, and creating materials for key projects. Prior positions include roles at CopyProse as a Writer & Editor, producing targeted communications for various organizations, and at Destination British Columbia and Destination Vancouver, where corporate communications and media initiatives were developed. Sheliza holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Communications from the University of Oregon.
