Indika Kulasekare serves as a Network Architect for the City of Burnaby since July 2019, following a significant tenure at TELUS from June 2013 to July 2019, where Indika held multiple roles including Network Engineer and Engineer-in-Training. At TELUS, responsibilities encompassed designing and implementing network solutions, configuring Cisco switches and routers, managing IPSEC tunnels, and performing proactive network monitoring and troubleshooting. Additional expertise includes IP/Optical Planning, quality control of installations, and providing technical support to sales teams. Indika also has a solid foundation in transport engineering, with experience in configuring gateways and generating technical specifications. Education was completed at Simon Fraser University.
