Daniel Villa started their career in 2014 as an Administrative Intern at the City of Ontario, where they worked in Current Planning until 2015. In 2015, they joined the City of Burbank and held various planning roles, including Assistant Planner from July 2015 to May 2017, Associate Planner from May 2017 to March 2019, Senior Planner from March 2019 to September 2023, and currently, as Principal Planner since September 2023.

Daniel Villa attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2009 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Urban & Regional Planning.
