Karl Maracotta is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in law enforcement technology management. Currently serving as Police IT Manager for the City of Boynton Beach since March 2019, Karl oversees the implementation and support of advanced technologies including Axon body-worn cameras, Real Time Crime Center operations, and various video management systems. Previously, Karl held the position of Mobile Data Administrator at the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department for 29 years, managing capital improvement projects and deploying mobile data systems. In addition, Karl served as Information Technology Consulting Manager at Interstate Asphalt Corp., where significant infrastructure projects were executed. Karl's continuous professional development includes certifications in Lean Green Belt, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and training at Axis Communication's Academy Bootcamp.
