Michael Tormey is an experienced transport planner currently employed at Arup since September 2022. Additionally, Michael has been a digital content artist for Go Jauntly, a walking and wayfinding app, since January 2022, generating high-quality photographs and sharing insights on walking routes. Previous roles include positions at the Boston Transportation Department as a Transit Planning Co-op, where Michael led initiatives to enhance bus corridor reliability, and as a Student Design Trainee III at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, focusing on safety interventions and wayfinding systems. Michael’s educational background includes a Master of Science in International Spatial Planning from UCL and a Master of Science in Transportation Planning and Engineering from the University of Southampton, in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Economics from Northeastern University.
