Mallory Avis, MBA, currently serves as the Public Transit Director for the City of Battle Creek, Michigan, where significant accomplishments include securing nearly $10 million in capital grants and leading efforts for countywide transportation implementation. Prior experience includes project management for the State of Michigan's Office of Passenger Transportation, providing oversight for 22 public transit agencies, and roles in financial management at Jackson Public Schools, including District Bookkeeper, Payroll Clerk, and Accounts Payable/Bookkeeping Assistant. Educated at Baker College, Mallory holds an MBA in General Business, a BBA in Management & Marketing, and an ABA in Management.
