Heath Papkov, MSPM, BA, currently serves as the Capital Projects and Grant Manager for the City of Aventura since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Florida International University, where Heath worked as the Director of Operations, Professor, and Marketing Manager from July 2019 to September 2023. Additionally, tenure at the Mission Command Training Program from July 2015 to May 2019 involved serving as the Director of Operations and Training for the United States Army, focusing on data analytics and training support for large-scale DoD organizations. Heath also held leadership positions in the United States Army, including Chief of Staff for the 1SBCT 4th Infantry Division and Senior Operations Manager for the 1st Stryker Brigade. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Kansas and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Political Science from the University at Albany.
