Shannon Stewart is a seasoned public information and marketing professional with extensive experience in sustainability and communications. Currently serving as the Public Information and Marketing Manager at the City of Austin Office of Sustainability since January 2017, Shannon has previously held the role of Senior Public Information Specialist at Austin Energy from May 2014 to January 2017, where responsibilities included leading communications and public relations for renewable energy. Prior to that, Shannon was a Public Information Specialist at the City of Austin Public Works from October 2010 to May 2014, focusing on media outreach for various community programs and overseeing the editorial aspects of Street Talk magazine. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital and Photographic Imaging, along with a minor in Anthropology from Texas State University.
