Bart Lauwers is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Security Operations Manager at the City of Austin since July 2021, Lauwers previously held significant positions such as Senior Enterprise Architect at Austin Energy and Chief Technology Officer at SignaCert, where strategic planning and innovative technology solutions were paramount. Earlier roles include Vice President and CTO at NTT Data Corporation for the Texas Department of Transportation and Vice President of IT at CareFusion. Lauwers has a strong background in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and information security, complemented by entrepreneurial experience as co-founder of Aeromatica LLC.
