Shawn Wampler, GISP, is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as the GIS Coordinator for the City of Annapolis since October 2005, where responsibilities include managing geospatial data for 18 departments and creating data models. Prior experience includes marketing at Wampler and Sons from 2013 to 2016, serving as a System Analyst at PlanGraphics from 1999 to 2005—where project management and technical leadership in database design were key duties—and working as a GIS Specialist at General Physics from 1997 to 1999, focusing on storm drain and sanitary sewer coverages for Baltimore City. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, earned between 1991 and 1995.
