Norman Woods Jr. currently serves as the Assistant Public Works Director of Utilities and Environmental Services for the City of American Canyon since October 2024. Prior to this role, Norman held the position of Pleasant Grove Wastewater Treatment Plant Chief Plant Operator for the City of Roseville, California from August 2012 to October 2024, overseeing various operations related to wastewater treatment. Norman's experience also includes a role as Operation and Maintenance Technician II at Veolia Water North America from October 2011 to August 2012. Educational credentials encompass a Bachelor's degree in Government with a focus on Wastewater and Public Policy from CSU Sacramento, an MBA from Western Governors University, an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Environmental Science from American River College, and an Associate's degree in Environmental Studies from Lassen Community College. Norman is a graduate of Del Campo High School, earning a diploma in General Studies.
