Tanya Allison is an experienced professional in community housing and property management, currently serving as the Community Housing Manager for the City of Allentown since September 2021. Prior to this role, Tanya managed the Lead Hazard Control Program at the City of Bethlehem, overseeing remediation projects and conducting risk assessments. With a robust background as a Housing Inspector and a Rental Property Manager at Sunburst Property Management, Tanya demonstrated expertise in tenant retention and property management. Tanya's earlier career includes roles as a Realtor, Editorial Office Manager for the Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology, and in historic restoration carpentry. Education includes a B.S. in Education from Kutztown University and a Project Management Certification from Penn State University.
