Shawn Robinson possesses diverse experience across various roles in media, education, and public service. Currently serving as a Member of the Violence Prevention Taskforce for the City of Albany, New York, since August 2024, Shawn previously held the position of Special Projects Producer at WRGB CBS6, where responsibilities included developing community contacts and pitching investigative stories. Prior experience includes administrative support at The Research Foundation for SUNY, contact tracing for the New York State Department of Health, and teaching language arts and debate as a Student Teacher at Cooperstown Junior/Senior High School. Additional roles encompass customer service at T-Mobile and various positions during college at SUNY Oneonta, as well as a Sub-School Aide with the NYC Department of Education. Shawn is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Journalism Innovation and Public Relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, building on a Bachelor of Science in Adolescence Education and English from SUNY Oneonta.
