Avni Thaci has extensive experience in academia and the medical field, currently serving as a Faculty Professor at Workforce Institute and Tenured Faculty at Malcolm X College since September 2004, as well as an Associate Professor at Rush University Medical Center since January 2013. Thaci has been involved in higher education at Malcolm X College as a Faculty Lecturer since April 2004. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Medical Doctor at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Medicine, in Kosovo from October 1989 to May 1998. Thaci holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Leadership from Roosevelt University and continues to contribute to Rush Medical College as an Associate Professor since December 2014.
