Karissa Johnson, MPA, serves as a Housing Policy Officer for the City and County of Denver since November 2015, and has previously held roles as a Homeless Systems Program Coordinator and Program Analyst Intern, contributing to the establishment of the OneHome coordinated entry system in 2017. In addition, Karissa has been with Volunteers of America since August 2017, working as Relief Staff and Residential Coordinator to assist women and transgender individuals facing chronic homelessness in a Safe Haven facility. Prior experience includes positions in admissions at The Art Institutes and Ashford University. Karissa holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
