Sara Phillips is an experienced accountant currently working at Citizens National Bank since December 2023. Previously, Sara served as an interim staff accountant at Sunflower Bank, N.A. for a brief period in April to May 2022, assisting with merger and conversion processes. From August 2016 to March 2022, Sara worked at Pioneer Bank, SSB, holding the roles of staff accountant and accounts payable specialist, focusing on accounts payable and accounting support. Prior to that, Sara was the assistant vice president of accounting support at Spirit of Texas Bank from January 2012 to July 2016, responsible for daily balancing of general ledger accounts and expenses for multiple regional branches. Sara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, earned between 2006 and 2011.
