Stephen Clements has worked in various roles at multiple companies since 2005. Stephen began as an intern at Hartig Drug in 2005, followed by roles as a credit analyst at DuTrac Community Credit Union from 2008 to 2011. From 2006 to 2008, they also worked as an adjunct professor and graduate assistant at the University of Dubuque. From 2011 to present, Stephen has been working at Citizens First Bank, beginning as a lender and eventually becoming Vice President, Senior Loan Officer, Executive Vice President, President, and currently serving as President and CEO.

Stephen Clements has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Human Resource Management and a second major in Speech Communication from the University of Dubuque, completed in 2006. Stephen obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the same university in 2008. Stephen has participated in various programs including the CUNA Credit School, Iowa School of Banking, and Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Stephen completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 2019 and participated in the Digital Banking School at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2020. Stephen also completed the Executive Development Institute for Community Banks at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in 2021.
