Sarah Wittig, P.E. is a Project Engineer IV at Citizens Energy Group since January 2022, previously serving as Project Engineer II and in various engineering roles at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. from July 2015 to January 2022. Wittig managed multiple construction projects, participated in Town/City Council meetings, and oversaw progress payment applications. Project experience includes wastewater treatment plant improvements, stormwater management, and water distribution system enhancements. A Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering Technology was obtained from the University of Notre Dame, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Assumption University. Additional experience includes research at the University of Notre Dame and internships with The Washington Center and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, focusing on environmental engineering and sediment control.
