Derik Van Staden has extensive experience in information management and service delivery, currently serving as Service Delivery Manager and IM Services Superintendent at CITIC Pacific Mining since June 2015. Prior to this role, Derik held multiple positions at BHP Billiton - Iron Ore from June 2006 to September 2014, including Information Systems Transitions Manager and Enterprise Services Portfolio Manager. Earlier career experience includes roles such as Manager Student Administration System and Senior Business Analyst at the University of Southern Queensland from February 2003 to June 2006. Derik holds a Masters of Project Management and an MBA in E-Business from the University of Southern Queensland, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology from the University of Canterbury.
