Carlos Serrano has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Carlos started their career as a Staff Writer at Diari de Girona in 2002 and later became a Motor Sports Writer at Hachette Filipacchi Media in 2003. In 2004, they joined FMR-Art'e as a Team Leader and Key Account Manager.

Their sales career began in 2006 at Swets Information Services B.V., where they worked as a Sales Manager for a year. Carlos then moved on to Conservación de Sustratos Celulósicos S.L. in 2007, serving as a Sales Manager and handling deacidification products and services for libraries and archives.

In 2010, Carlos joined Monster as a Key Account Manager and later became a National Key Account Manager and Country Sales Manager. During this time, they contributed to the company's global presence, managing sales in over 40 countries.

From 2018 to 2021, Carlos worked at Social and Beyond as the Chief Commercial Officer. Carlos played a crucial role in building the sales team from scratch and designing a training program. Carlos developed a sales methodology and a multi-year sales plan, achieving outstanding results, such as surpassing company targets and closing contracts with major Spanish banks and fast food franchises. Carlos was also responsible for expanding sales in the LATAM market, specifically in Mexico.

In 2022, Carlos served as a Strategic Advisor at JobTarget, providing strategic insights to the organization.

Currently, Carlos holds the position of Commercial Expansion Manager at Citibox, starting in 2023.

Carlos Serrano holds a Master's degree in General Sales, Merchandising, and Related Marketing Operations, which they obtained from Esade in 2014. Carlos previously attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. Prior to that, Carlos pursued a Bachelor's degree in History at Universitat de Barcelona, which they completed from 1995 to 1999.
