Karen Barker currently serves as the Head of Employment Law & HR Team at Citation Professional Solutions, with a tenure starting in August 2020, building upon previous roles as Assistant Head and Team Manager within the same department. Prior to this, Karen held the position of Director at Totally Stockport (BID) from April 2019 to January 2021. Karen's extensive experience in employment law began at SAS Daniels LLP, where a distinguished career spanned nearly two decades as Partner, leading the Employment and HR Group in various capacities. Early career experience includes a role at Hewlett-Packard within the UK Computer Division. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Employment Law from The Manchester Metropolitan University, FCILEX in Law from Oldham College, and an HNC in Business and Finance from Stockport College.
