Songtao Songtao has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Songtao started their career as a Research Intern at The University of Hong Kong in 2014. Songtao then worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research of Asia from September 2014 to June 2015. Following this, they were a Visiting Scholar at Rice University from August 2015 to June 2016. In 2016, they joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Research Assistant and worked there until May 2022. In June 2019, they had a brief stint as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research. Currently, they are employed as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities starting from May 2022.

Songtao Songtao completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China, from 2011 to 2015. Songtao then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from 2016 to 2022.
