Fangjian Ma has a strong background in software engineering with experience at several major tech companies. Fangjian is currently working as a Software Engineer at Citadel Securities since March 2020. Before that, they worked at Google as a Software Engineer from December 2017 until February 2020. Prior to their time at Google, they were a Software Engineer at Facebook from July 2013 to December 2017. Fangjian also gained experience during internships at LinkedIn, where they worked as a Software Engineer Intern in 2012, and at Cisco, where they interned as an Information Security Engineer in 2011. Fangjian began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Intel Corporation in 2010.

Fangjian Ma began their education by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Security from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. Fangjian then pursued further studies at Brown University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2011 to 2013.
