Eklavya Saraf has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Saraf began their career in 2001 as an Information Specialist at the United Nations Regional Information Centre (UNRIC). They then worked at Pfizer as a Rotational Intern in 2002. In 2004, Saraf interned at Bloomberg LP.
Saraf joined Thomson Financial in 2005 as an Associate and later transitioned to Thomson Reuters, where they held roles as a Senior Associate and Associate Director in the Biotechnology department from 2007 to 2009.
From 2009 to 2022, Saraf worked at Nasdaq, starting as a Director of Investor Analytics and progressing to the positions of Director of Product Specialist, Relationship Manager, and ultimately, Managing Director of New Listings & Capital Markets. In these roles, Saraf was responsible for building relationships with pre-IPO companies and advising them on financing and visibility opportunities. They also led new sales efforts, implemented strategic initiatives, and analyzed business and product opportunities for growth.
Starting in October 2022, Saraf will assume the role of Head of DMM Capital Markets and Business Development at Citadel Securities.
Eklavya Saraf attended the American Community Schools in Athens, Greece from 1999 to 2001. It is not mentioned whether they obtained a degree or studied a particular field during this time. Later, from 2001 to 2005, Eklavya pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University.
