Alexei Iouchkov has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Alexei started their career as a Summer Intern in Custom Software Development at Velvetech LLC in 2008. Alexei then worked as a Summer Analyst in Portfolio Management, where they designed and built simulation and testing environments for a custom High-Frequency Trading platform.

In 2010, Alexei transitioned to the role of Summer Analyst in Private Equity Consulting at Velvetech LLC. During this time, they gained experience in designing simulation frameworks for stochastic asset allocation algorithms and simulating signals based on market momentum.

From 2011 to 2018, Alexei joined IMC Trading as a Quantitative Trader/Analyst. Alexei further developed their skills in derivatives pricing theory, risk management, and algorithm analysis. Alexei traded, analyzed, and improved algorithmic strategies for options, futures, and ETFs with gold and silver underlyings.

During the traineeship at IMC Trading, Alexei successfully transitioned to the Fixed Income desk. As a trainee, they studied and gained practical experience in derivatives pricing theory, risk management, and algorithm analysis best practices.

In 2018, Alexei joined Citadel Securities as a Quantitative Researcher. Unfortunately, no specific dates or details are provided for this role, but it can be inferred that they are currently working in this position.

Alexei Iouchkov has a strong educational background in computer science and mathematics. Alexei completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Chicago in 2021. Before that, they earned an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a Specialization in Economics from the same university between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, during their undergraduate studies, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

In terms of certifications, Alexei obtained the Series 57 certification from FINRA in April 2017. Prior to that, they obtained the Series 56 certification from FINRA in October 2013.
