Thoufic Shahul Hameed has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Thoufic currently works at Cision as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Hexaware Technologies as a Sr. Software Engineer from April 2021 to August 2022. Thoufic also has a long tenure at Tata Consultancy Services, where they held the position of Senior Java Software Engineer from July 2012 to April 2021. During their time at Tata Consultancy Services, they had various responsibilities including leadership, technical lead, project management, and development.

Thoufic Shahul Hameed completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology at the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle in December 2014, and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021.
