Karen Hobert has extensive experience in thought leadership and research within the technology sector, currently serving as the leader for Future of Work Thought Leadership & Research at Cisco since June 2021. As a board member of AIIM International and Chairman of the Board of Directors at EcoUrban Gardens, Karen actively contributes to organizational governance and community education on sustainable practices. Previous roles include Principal Consulting Analyst at TechVision Research and Senior Director Analyst at Gartner, where contributions to digital workplace strategies and content services research were notable. Additionally, Karen held positions as President of Alpha Enterprises, Inc., and Managing Partner at Dogwood Software, LLC, focusing on collaboration technologies and software development. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural History and Criticism from Boston University.
