Briar Wells is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs and public relations. Currently serving at Cisco since September 2019, Briar holds the titles of Head of Communications for Canada and leads international communications strategy. Prior to Cisco, Briar founded Briar Wells Communications as a Communications and Corporate Affairs Strategist from May 2018 to September 2019. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs at Labatt Breweries of Canada, where leadership in brand and corporate communications was demonstrated, and positions at Edelman as Senior Account Manager and Account Manager. Early career experience includes consultancy at Wilcox Group. Briar holds a BA in Political Studies from Queen's University and a post-graduate degree in Public Relations from Humber College.
