Dave Molk has an extensive work experience in the field of music and software engineering. Dave started their career in 2009 as an Instructor at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. In the same year, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tufts University. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Princeton University, where they taught 6 courses to undergraduates, including Computer and Electronic Music, and co-produced the first-ever interdisciplinary conference on Pink Floyd. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Rutgers University - Camden and a Curriculum Developer at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD). In 2021, they completed a Software Engineering Immersive at General Assembly. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Cirrus Data Solutions Inc. and an Integrations Engineer at BillGO. Additionally, they have been running their own Freelance Composer business, Dave Molk Music, since 2011.
Dave Molk attended The Loomis Chaffee School from 1997 to 2000. Dave then attended Middlebury College from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics. After that, they attended Berklee College of Music from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition. Molk then attended Tufts University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Arts in Music Composition. Finally, they attended Princeton University from 2011 to 2016, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Music Composition. In 2021, Dave Molk is attending General Assembly for Software Engineering.
