Thaphne Riley

Sr. Director, Global Supply at Circular Systems SPC

Thaphne Riley has extensive experience in the fashion industry, with a focus on product development, supply chain management, and sustainability.

Thaphne currently works at Circular Systems SPC as the Sr. Director, Global Supply, where they oversee all aspects of textile production, sampling, and supply chain activity. Thaphne is responsible for global production and logistics oversight, quality control, critical alignment and compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Thaphne worked at GUESS?, Inc. where they held various positions, including Associate Director of Product Development. In this role, they led a team of product developers and support staff and successfully implemented a sustainability program, reducing China sourcing penetration and improving margin performance.

Before GUESS?, Thaphne worked at TRIXXI CLOTHING COMPANY, INC. as a Pre Production Manager, where they managed all aspects of product development for the dress team. Thaphne also worked at JMary, Inc. as a Production Manager, overseeing high-end domestic production, and at Bloomingdales as a Sales Specialist, achieving surpassing sales goals in their specialty area.

Thaphne's diverse experience also includes working at Human Technology Inc. as an Art Director/Photo Researcher, where they gained valuable skills in creative direction and photo research.

Throughout their career, Thaphne has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as a commitment to sustainability and quality.

Thaphne Riley began their education in 1994 at The George Washington University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Sculpture and Design. Thaphne completed their undergraduate studies in 1998.

Following that, in 1998-1999, Thaphne attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts to obtain a Post-Baccalaureate degree, further specializing in Sculpture and Design.

After a gap, Thaphne returned to education in 2008 at the Otis College of Art and Design, where they pursued a Continuing Education (CE) program in Fashion Design. Thaphne successfully completed this program in 2010, adding another dimension to their artistic expertise.
