Helena McClenahan has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field. Helena began their career in 2002 as a Medical Assistant at Ashburn Veterinary Hospital in Ashburn Virginia. In 2006, they moved to Williamsville Family Practice as a Medical Assistant. In 2007, they became a Research Coordinator at the Hypertension and Renal Research Group. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University at Buffalo. During this time, they coordinated all aspects of Genetic Newborn Screening and Long-Term Follow-up patient Registry, collected information pertinent to Genetic disorders related to newborns, and entered data into the Health Commerce System. In 2022, they moved to Circuit Clinical and Trinity Medical Center as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
Helena McClenahan has a Certificate in Cardiovascular Technology from both Lakewood Technical Institute (2004-2005) and Star Technical Institute (2004-2005). Her field of study was Cardiovascular Science.
