John traded the rigors of academia for the “glamor” of communications 8 years ago (and never looked back!). He brings an extensive scientific background, as well as curiosity and imagination, to client relationships and his role as Client Engagement Director. Prior to entering the creative agency world, John was a postdoctoral research associate at 2 of the world's leading research and teaching universities: King’s College London and Manchester University, where he also earned a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in biochemistry and a doctor of philosophy in molecular biology. Ever the overachiever, John also runs marathons in his spare time, including a 155-mile race in China called the Gobi March, which is part of the 4 Deserts Race Series known as “the ultimate test of human endurance.” He’s also a passionate football fan (that’s soccer for those in the US) and father of 2.
