Jason R. has been working in the software engineering field since 2001, when they began their tenure as a Software Engineer with General Dynamics AIS. Their role was that of a Principal Engineer, where they led the development and maintenance of a suite of utilities for Trusted Solaris. In 2004, they moved to MacAulay Brown, also working as a Software Engineer, where they served as Lead Tools Engineer and developed tools and products for interception, isolation and containment of network attacks. Concurrently in 2011, Jason worked as a Security Engineer with CBTS, followed by Engineer with ManTech SMA, where they provided CNO applications development support. Their most recent role, from 2012 through 2022, was a Senior Principal Cyber Software Engineer with Northrop Grumman Corporation Xetron. Currently, they are Principal Software Engineer with Ctrl IQ, Inc.

Jason R. began their educational journey in 1998 at San Antonio College studying Computer Information Systems. Jason then continued to Wayland Baptist University from 2007-2009, completing a BS in Computer Information Systems. Most recently, Jason completed a Masters of Science in Computer Science, specializing in Cyber Informatics, at the University of Cincinnati in 2016.
