Senior Vice President, Business Development at Cinnaire

Jacob Stern's work experience begins in 2009 with LB Stanton Consulting, Inc, where they worked as a project-based strategic planning consultant until 2010. In 2010, Jacob joined CPS as a project coordinator for The Excellence in Teaching Project, responsible for coordinating the implementation of a new teacher evaluation system. In 2011, they worked as an economic development intern for North River Commission and Albany Park Chamber of Commerce. Later that year, Jacob joined SomerCor 504, Inc. as an operations and credit intern.

In 2012, Jacob had an internship with Grubb & Ellis in their Strategic Consulting Group before returning to SomerCor as an SBIF assistant director. Throughout their time at SomerCor, they held various roles, including SBIF director and vice president of economic development, SBIF director. Jacob played a significant role in managing programs such as the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) and the SBA Community Advantage loan program.

From 2017 to 2019, Jacob served as SomerCor's senior vice president and director of economic development, working closely with the City of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development and the Mayor's Office.
