Gwen Elliott has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gwen started their career as a Crew Member at McDonald's Corporation in 1998 and held multiple roles within the company until 2006. Gwen then worked as a Student Worker at Cincinnati Christian University, performing various tasks such as being a Librarian, Resident Assistant, and working in the Coffeeshop and Dining Hall. In 2006, they became the Tea Room Manager at Churchill's Tea Room & Shop. Gwen later worked as a Substitute Teacher at Mount Healthy City Schools from 2008 to 2009. Gwen also worked as a Lead School Age Summer Teacher at KinderCare and a Nanny at the Lazarre Household in 2009. In 2010, they joined Kokomo Center Schools as a 1:1 Educational Support. Currently, they serve as the Director of Community Collaborations at Cincinnati Museum Center since 2011, where they oversee various community-based programs, volunteer and intern services, and accessibility initiatives.

Gwen Elliott completed their high school education at Kokomo High School from 1997 to 2001. Gwen then pursued a degree in Bible Studies & Communications with a focus on Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General at Cincinnati Christian University from 2001 to 2007. Additionally, they attended Northern Kentucky University from 2002 to 2004, majoring in Theatre/Theater. Finally, Gwen completed their education at The Second City Training School in Chicago, where they graduated from the Conservatory program in Improvisation from 2008 to 2010.
