Taha Aksoy graduated from METU Civil Engineering Department, Taha Aksoy completed her master's degree in the same department.

He worked as an Assistant at METU, a Research Assistant at Munich Technical University, and a Lecturer at Melik Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. For many years, he held senior positions and assumed duties in boards and associations: METU Academic Council Member, Betonsan AŞ. General Manager, AFA İnşaat A.Ş. Project Manager and Deputy General Manager, Çimentaş Group Planning Coordinator, and Executive Board Member, Beşer Balatacılık A.Ş. General Manager, ATAY Holding A.Ş. Commerce Group President, and Executive Board Member, 23rd World Inter-University Summer Games General Coordinator and Chairman of the Executive Board President of Turkish Gas Concrete Producers Association, European Gas Concrete Association Board Member, Turkish Prefabricated Union Board Member, Chamber of Civil Engineers, METU Alumni Association, ESİAD, and TUSIAD.

Taha Aksoy, who served as an Ä°zmir Deputy in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey between 2007 and 2011, speaks a very good level of English and a good level of German.
