Morteza Dehghani, ing., PhD, is a seasoned bridge engineer at CIMA+ since August 2017, with extensive experience in structural engineering from previous roles at Ronin Co and SANO Consulting Engineers, where the focus was on the structural design of industrial buildings and foundation design for heavy-duty machinery. Morteza served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Student Researcher at École Polytechnique de Montréal from January 2010 to August 2017, specializing in the development and qualification of an innovative steel bracing system for earthquake-resistant applications. Morteza holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, awarded between 2010 and 2014.
