Sam Phelps has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Chateaubriand STEM Fellow at the Centre Européen de Recherche et d’Enseignement des Géosciences de l’Environnement in 2017. From 2013 to 2020, they worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2020, they became a Postdoctoral Scientist at Harvard University and held this role until 2022. Currently, they are working as an Associate Vice President of Portfolio Oversight at CIM Group, starting in 2022.
Sam Phelps completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Brown University from 2009 to 2013. Later, from 2013 to 2020, Sam pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Earth & Environmental Sciences at Columbia University.
