Yang LIU is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Student Member of CIGRE and IEEE Power & Energy Society, while also engaged as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology. Yang has extensive experience in research and engineering roles, including a position as a Senior Engineer at SGCC Shaanxi Electric Power Research Institute and as an Engineer at Shaanxi Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid Corporation of China. Yang is actively involved in standardization efforts as a Partner Member of the International Electrotechnical Commission and a Technical Specialist with the Standardization Administration of China. With a strong academic background that includes ongoing doctoral study in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master’s degree in Material Science and Engineering, Yang has contributed as a reviewer for IEEE conferences and held leadership roles, such as Vice-Chair at CATCON 2017.
