Rakesh Shukla has over 16 years of experience in software development and technology management. Currently serving as a Module Lead at Ciena since May 2012, Rakesh specializes in the development of the 6500 Packet Optical platform, focusing on management capabilities through Java and various native protocols. Previous roles include Associate Technology L2 at Sapient Global Markets, where Rakesh contributed to an end-to-end business solution for a major online betting company, and Research Associate at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Rakesh began the career as an Associate Software Engineer at Anshinsoftware Pvt. Ltd., delivering back-office solutions for Nomura. Rakesh holds an M.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute and an MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia.
