Wei Xu has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as a Senior Product Engineer at CIE Automotive since May 2019, following the company's acquisition and rebranding to Golde Roof Systems. Prior to this role, Wei held various engineering positions, including Senior Product Engineer and Product Development Supervisor at Inteva Products from July 2014 to May 2019 after relocating from Shanghai to Michigan. Wei also worked at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors from October 2010 to June 2014, where responsibilities included Senior Design Engineer tasks in automotive interiors. Earlier career roles include a Product Engineer position at Takata, Design Engineer roles at TJ Innova Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd., and INOAC CORPORATION, focusing on airbags, BIW design, and interiors respectively. Wei Xu holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, obtained in 2006.
