Liz Samaris has a diverse range of work experience. Liz began their career at AIG as a Sr. Business Analyst in Risk Management Services from 2005 to 2008. Liz then moved on to Everything Natural Too, where they worked as a Consultant and Project Manager from 2008 to 2010. Since 2010, Liz has been with Ciberspring, taking on various roles. Liz started as a System Engineer from 2010 to 2012 and then became a Project Manager from 2012 to 2014. Liz then worked as a Sr. Project Manager from 2014 to 2017 before becoming the Director of Program and Project Management. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Vice President of Technology Services starting in June 2022.
Liz Samaris, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, holds a diverse educational background. In 2004, they obtained a degree in E-Commerce & .Net Programming from AVTECH Institute of Technology. Prior to that, in 2003, they completed an Associate degree in Applied Science with a focus on Architecture & Design from Brookdale Community College.
Furthermore, Liz has pursued additional certifications throughout their career. In 2017, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance, followed by the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2017 as well. In 2018, they completed several Salesforce-related certifications, including Salesforce Administrator Cert Prep, Salesforce for Customer Service, and Salesforce for Sales Managers.
Additionally, Liz acquired the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2018. Before diving into project management, they also obtained the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) certification from the Capstone Institute of Mortgage Finance in 2004 and became a Certified Realtor through Weichert, Realtors in 2003.
Liz has continued to enhance their knowledge and skills through various training courses, including Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management from Lynda.com in 2016, and more recently, Microsoft Project Web App Essential Training in 2019. The institutions where they obtained these certifications and participated in training include LinkedIn, Lynda.com, Project Management Institute, Scrum Alliance, Capstone Institute of Mortgage Finance, and Weichert, Realtors.
