Ian Wight is a seasoned technology and operations leader with extensive experience at CIBC, where the individual has held multiple roles since February 2009, including Vice President of Enterprise Data, Automation and Operations Technology. Ian currently leads the Enterprise Risk & Adjudication Technology team of 210 IT professionals, ensuring high-quality systems for risk data processing. Prior to this, Ian managed the Risk Data Aggregation program, a significant regulatory initiative, and transformed the business management office for Wholesale Banking Technology. Earlier experience includes a role as Manufacturing Electrical Engineer at General Motors, focusing on quality monitoring systems at a top-rated automotive plant. Ian holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University.
