Joshua Narcisse

Director Of Spiritual Care at Church Health

Joshua Narcisse's work experience begins in 2015 as a Special Assistant to the Office of the Dean of the Chapel at Howard University. In this role, they coordinated various organizations for the weekly Chapel Service and managed the office's diary, appointments, and correspondence. Joshua also assisted with budget management and invoice processing.

From 2015 to 2016, Joshua worked as a Resident Assistant at Howard University, where they were responsible for managing ninety residents and handling grievances and complaints.

In 2016, Joshua became a Youth Minister at First Presbyterian Church of Stamford, where they administered programs to promote faith development among youth and facilitated Sunday school lessons and fellowship events. Joshua also led discussions on faith practicality and college preparation.

In 2017, Joshua served as a Graduate Assistant for Civic Engagement Initiatives at Yale University. Joshua researched and led alternative break trips, built community among participants, facilitated partnerships, and coordinated post-trip meetings.

From 2019 to 2021, Joshua held the position of Faith & Health Resident at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church. Joshua led the Young Adult ministry, provided pastoral counseling, managed online media platforms, and oversaw the creation of a new website.

Since 2021, Joshua has been the Director of Spiritual Care at Church Health. In this role, they collaborate with clinical teams to integrate spiritual care services, supports the faith life of employees, and provides direct spiritual and emotional support to patients and staff.

Joshua Narcisse has a diverse education history. Joshua obtained their Bachelor's Degree from Howard University, where they studied Political Science and Government from 2012 to 2016. Joshua also earned a second Bachelor's Degree in History during the same period at Howard University. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Joshua attended Bard High School Early College from 2008 to 2012. Recently, they completed their Master's Degree in Religion/Religious Studies at Yale Divinity School from 2016 to 2019.
