Jo Ann Tay is a seasoned research specialist currently working at Chugai Pharmabody Research since June 2013, where responsibilities include shaping policies, managing cell line assets on the Cell Banking Committee, and conducting independent research. Previous roles include positions at the Singapore Immunology Network, focusing on cell-based assays for tuberculosis, and at Novartis Institute for Tropical Diseases, specializing in the development of assays for small molecule drugs targeting Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Early research experience at the Genome Institute of Singapore involved studying stem cells and post-translational regulation. Jo Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from the National University of Singapore and completed a statistics course with Microsoft in 2018.
